Gardening: Help beautify the Garden for Living and learn how to repot your houseplants.

 

Recycling: Learn why recycling is good for your community and get free recycling totes. 

 

Healthy, Fresh, Local Food: Discover delicious healthy food that is also a great value.  We’ll have nutritionists and chefs on hand to share free samples!

 

Much more: Learn other ways to go green, including how to get energy efficient light bulbs installed in your home for FREE!  Some lucky participants will receive a free Compact Fluorescent Light Bulb (CFL)
 

With Council on the Environment’s Recycling, Greenmarket and Community Gardens programs and partners NYCHA, Carver Houses Resident’s Association, Mt. Sinai Hospital and the Manhattan Free Lighting Project.
